While every leak is a spoiler, not every spoiler is a leak. Spoilers in titles are strictly prohibited. Comments in threads that are not directly related to a current episode must use appropriate formatting. In-Season Policy: While a season is airing and before the official announcement of a new season, all plot details of the current season are considered a spoiler. This rule currently applies to Season 1 and the Special Episodes. Post-Season Policy: Once a new season has been officially announced and the first episode of that season has aired, spoilers for the previous season are allowed, including in titles. We have two rulesets on spoilers, depending on where the show is currently at. Spoilers are descriptions of an important plot development, which if previously known may reduce surprise or suspense for a first-time viewer. Gut-wrenching.HBO's Euphoria: A group of high school students try to discover their own identities while dealing with drugs, trauma, love, and social media. My favorite scenes were Jules leaving Rue's house (my god, I felt like an addict in that POV) and the morphine. The party is over, Rue's friends are exhausted, and what's left mirrors Laurie's speech about opiates and the brain. This episode in particular leaves the hyper-aesthetic world of Euphoria to something much more real and personal. Few and far in-between for this season, so that's why I was close to stopping. The scene of Rue talking to Ali with the suitcase of drugs was a scene before this episode that showed me the part of the show I appreciated most. Most of the non-drug drama in Euphoria feels highly contrived or childish to me, I much prefer the drug tragedy. Even then, the writers still weave in a satisfying mini-climax for the love triangles, but it's solidly in the background to Rue's personal story. It was impressive, and not what I expected with how S2 was going (I'm not a huge fan of the party episodes which are getting repetitive). The show subverted this by bringing the core theme of the show to the foreground (I figured the writers had fallen asleep and forgotten what the show was about at this point). I thought the climax was going to center around the love triangles, putting the drug themes in the background (meh, would skip).
